Nisaba Steps Up to Support Gift of Adoption

You don't have to adopt to give a child a home. Akemi and I supported the 2023 Stepping Up- Gift of Adoption Michigan Stair Climb on Saturday, November 4, 2023. Gift of Adoption is a non-profit organization to assist those going through the adoption process with funds to help cover the high cost of adopting a child.

140 Million worldwide are orphaned and in need of a family to call their own. That is 1/2 the population of the United States. In the US, there is, on average, 0.5 million children are in the foster care system. On average, a child waits 5 years to be adopted.

To date, give of adoption has gifted more than $16.5 million in assistance grants.
